Is there a issue using the ZIP download from MEGA for cmu150_EU_59.00.443C? Could the file be corrupted by download.

To check download, is there a MD5 or other check value available to verify if the file downloaded is unmodified from the one uploaded?
Or is MZD checking if files are corrupted before use anyhow?

(Sorry, I had several download issues in the past on mobile phone images.....)

NO the files are not corrupted.

Do not download the files a .zip, it has been reported here before and I suggest you take the time to read page 1, it is all there.

Within Mega you click on each link description and download as a .up file ONLY.
Do not compress or change, even though Mega offers to download these files as a ZIP file.
Just double click on the 'description of each file title' (do the small FAILSAFE File first and then the large Reinstall last). Don't download at same time or together particularly if you have a slow data connection as this is where file corruptions can happen.

The size of each file in KB is also listed on page 1.
When you have each of the two files on your USB Stick (Drive) these are the file sizes in KB. Failsafe 6,865 KB, Re-Install 2,275,385 KB

Again, IF you have Any Hacks/Tweaks I strongly suggest you remove them or reset system back before you install V59.

Chrome or Firefox browsers are best for Mega downloads.

NO the files are not corrupted.
Sorry, was not my intention to say the files are currupted on MEGA. I had issues in the past at download itself, sometimes files got corrupted while downloading (maybe because of my bad line/provider) That's why I try to always doublecheck on sensitive files.
Thanks for your support, I must have missed the statement to download separately (But have to admit last time I read it in detail is quite some weeks ago)

I think unsuccessful updates are due to a bad copy to USB flash device. Remember always use "safely remove USB device" on Windows after coping two files to USB stick.
Reinstall package are a big file over 2GB, and Windows system needs long time to flush buffers and send full files to target stick.
You can check .up files are correct by a temporary changing extension to .zip and open them using WinZip or WinRar.

Hi to all
a little information before making an too expensive injury.
Currently my Mazda3 2016 run the firmware version 56.00.513 EU with the following tweak installed:

Touchscreen While Moving
Reverse Camera Safety Warning
Main Menu Loop
Order of Audio Source List
Remove Message Reply
Speedometer
FuelConsumtion Tweak
No More Disclaimer
Semi-transparent parking sensor graphics
Improved List Loop
Media Order Patch & FLAC Support
Pause on mute
Bigger Album Art
Change Blank Album Art Frame
Statusbar Tweaks
Background Image
Custom Infotainment Colors

NO Castscreen, NO AA, NO SSH

I would like to install the new version of firmware 59.00.443C but my trouble is if I have to uninstall first the tweaks or if, by installing the new firmware, simply everything will be reset to the basic configuration, and then just reinstall from zero the desired tweak.

Thank you for the reply

PS: Sorry for my bad english

I strongly suggest you reset BEFORE you update to V59.

Go to SYSTEM
Then Scroll down to "Restore All Factory Settings"
Run it...(make sure Connect works ok).

Then I would do the Speed Restriction Disable (touchscreen while moving), see page 1 here and 5.6, as this factory test screen feature is removed with V59, BUT will remain if you do this before upgrade to V59.
The rest of your 'tweaks' will need to be done again (where possible).
I will say this again V59 has a different format and layout to all other Firmware updates, and part of the reason why some owners who have done many tweaks are having problems as system can not allocate some tweaks as the directories have been moved or no longer used.

I personally believe Mazda is setting up CMU (Connect) for Car Play and AA soon.

Let us know how you get on... you will be OK.

/\ Keep in mind that the Changelog above is for JP firmware which has many features for hardware/software not used in NA and EU.

NA Changelog for 441 is listed on page 1.

I wish you guys can read a little.

Changelog for EU 443 has NOT been given as shown on page 1.

Good to see many EU MZD Connect owners are reporting an easy install of about 60 minutes.

Like 2015 Mazda 3's, DJ Mazda 2's and CX-5's.

One owner removed all their tweaks FIRST and then updated with EU 59.00.443C with no problems.

Most are reporting a much smoother and faster user system when completed.

Those who are having issues (black screen) are those with SSH and other Non Mazda tweaks (hacks), or are not paying attention while running new firmware.

Just get your system back to OEM and you wont have any problems, you MUST follow all the install instructions I have listed many times on Page 1 of this thread to the Letter....it is not hard, if you are unsure please PM me as I can direct you to color numbered procedures if you are not sure (Please include your Full VIN Number, and your country of residence too so I can be sure you are installing the right firmware). :)

As a caring Mazda Maniac I don't want to see some of you guys with a black screen, use 2.9.2 on Page 1 if this happens to you, and this is because you did not remove your private tweaks or did not follow the install instructions.
And yes even a Mazda Dealer can have problems when you don't tell them you have done tweaks, or they too skip critical updating instructions.
Also CRITICAL see 2.7 on Page 1, NEVER let the CMU go into sleep mode while USB transfer updating, this will cause a black screen, just press a clutch or brake pedal ONCE every 20 minutes to keep CMU awake or on.......PAY ATTENTION.

As documented on Page 1, this genuine Mazda update is for all EU (Europe, UK) owners with Mazda Models with MZD Connect, this is all Skyactiv Mazda's such as DJ Mazda 2, BM/BN Mazda 3, GJ/GL Mazda 6, ND MX-5, DK CX-3, KE/KF Mazda CX-5, TC Mazda CX-9 (including every new 2017 models.)

I strongly suggest you reset BEFORE you update to V59.

I personally believe Mazda is setting up CMU (Connect) for Car Play and AA soon.
Thanks so much for the information.
At the moment I'm pretty satisfied of version 56, i'll upgrade the CMU right for the personal desire to have the latest version possible.
Are better, in your opinion, to wait for a new version with AA/CarPlay?

The EU verson does not mention 'The Netherlands', is it included or not ? (Yes, The Netherlands are in the EU, just like Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy)
