Hey everyone,

It looks like M3R is finished "supporting" 2019+ firmware updates - has anyone found a new source? I'd be happy to host a cloud storage drive if we can just find a source for new updates.

Hi all.

I have the following challenge/dilemma.

I have imported a Canadian Mazda 3 2020 hatch to Europe and would like to use European navigation (SD card) etc.

Current firmware of the CMU is the North American one (CMU_7000C0A-NA01_10048.kwi). So, my dilemmas are:

1) Can I flash/upgrade it with EU01 firmware? I have CMU_7000C0A-EU01_10049.kwi at my disposal.
a) Yes, sure.
b) No, there will be problems/bricked unit.

2) If 1.b) then I guess I should update it to CMU_7000C0A-NA01_12002.kwi and simply live with it? Y/N?

3) Can I install the European gracenote file (for radio) on the NA01 firmware or not?

Any experts here that can put my mind at ease with some definitive answers?

Just picked up my new 2022 Mazda3 Sport GT Turbo (Canada). It came with firmware 12012. :)
Well, that's officially newer than I've seen elsewhere. 12002 is the latest I've found before. Unfortunately I'm not aware of anything we can do with it except know it's out there.

I posted a link to legitimately download it in this thread: Mazda3 2019 Infotainment Software Update

I’d be cautious about this one because it’s only recommended for certain vechicles built after a certain date.

For European owners version 7000C0A-EU01_11000, is now available at your local Mazda dealer, changes from 10049:

• Android AutoTM may not appear on the entertainment screen.
• When a Bluetooth® device is disconnected, the screen may freeze.
• When it reboots, registered information for a paired Bluetooth® device may be lost.
• When the gear is shifted from reverse position to parking position, the center display may turn black.
• When listening to the radio, steering switch operation for auto-tuning may erase the banner.

(Ver. 7000C0A-EU01_10051)

(Ver. 7000C0A-EU01_10050)
• It may reboot when using the map function on CarPlayTM.
• [For workshop] DTC U3000:49 (CMU internal malfunction) is detected when music play is disturbed even caused by the mobile device application.
• Voice command for artist name or album name is not accepted with error message “Voice Recognition Unavailable. Voice Recognition commands for music are unavailable. There is no available metadata on this device.”

• Language selection may fail to change.
• Android AutoTM may fail to connect.

It's such a shame you can't download anything anymore.
My Mazda dealer keeps saying no update available. (Mazda 2021) I would be grateful if someone could put the new EU version 7000C0A-EU01_11000 online.
I miss ASH8.

Hello
Does this new version (7000C0A-EU01_11000 ) for EUrope allow wireless for Android Auto (the 10049 required a USB connection to run Android Auto)
Thank you
No, it wouldn’t. The NA version is already on 12012 and no update has enabled wireless anything. These vehicles may not have the hardware necessary for wireless.

Hello
OK, OK...!
Reading the text in # 691 i thought it was the bugs of the version EU01-11000 instead of the changelog for EU01-11000.
In reality the version EU01-11000 corrects these bugs.....
Personally I have never noticed them, except once for the loss of the sound of the radio... (mandatory reset to restore...)
Thank you
