After reading through hundreds of websites, I'm still not really smart enough.
My question to you, Mazda 3 BM 2016 update status 56.00.230 EU N,
can I directly from 56... to 70.00.367A
or is the path 56.00... to 70.00.100A and then to 70.00.367A

Why would you want to update to a rather old 70.00.367 anyway?

 

I did not find any new files...

 

@hexer1004 - see official info from back then attached. This info is not valid anymore for the latest FW 74 (as far as I know). So in your case with 56.00.230 installed, you are fine to install 70.00.367 directly. Only if you would have an older version than 56.00.100 installed, you should have installed 70.00.100 in between.

wie ich sehe kommst du auch aus Deutschland,
könntest du mir vielleicht helfen, die neuste Software (74.00.324A EU N) zu finden oder hast du einen Tipp, wo oder wie ich am besten suche, die alte (70.00.367) bekam ich aus China beim bestellen meiner USBBox...

Does anyone know if the latest firmware fixes the DAB radio from dropping out? Or is that just a DAB radio thing?

 

Hoping to be able to update my daughter's car to a version above 70 to enable apple car play.

 

I'm having issues finding the files so I can update to Android auto. I keep finding the one huge post but no files that I can see.

 

@bbourizk and @CollegeBrian : If you install FW 70 or 74 you still have to install the new usb hub + 2 new cables to automatically get AA/CP. See the following linked thread for more info. Ask ASH8 for the latest FW 74.

I'm keen on buying a hub as the Nav doesn't play my Google maps voice-connected Bluetooth.

The region does not matter much. Yes, from FW 59 you can update directly to FW 74. I only know of an official info about FW 56 and lower to update to intermediate 70.00.100-

 

I'd say you should as older firmware in these vehicles can cause your head unit to become inoperable. I'm sure some of the mods are more knowledgeable about this. I'm in the process of doing the same thing.

 

For Generation 6 Mazda MZD Connect version read.

How You Read Firmware "Version NUMBERS" from 'Left to Right' as a 7 Digit Version Number without the 2 middle Dots....

9 x Examples:

20.00.007 is 2000007 made in 2013 (late)

31.00.300A is 3100300 made in 2014

59.00.502A is 5900502 made in 2015 (late)

70.00.021 is 7000021 made in 2017

70.00.100A is 7000100 made in 2018

70.00.352B is 7000352 made in 2018

70.00.367 is 7000367 made in 2018 (late)

74.00.210A is 7400210 made in 2020

74.00.324A is 7400324 made in 2022 (the latest and last release).


So with these 9 examples above 20.00.007 is the OLDEST or LOWEST buggy Version and 74.00.324A is the NEWEST or HIGHEST and the LATEST and the LAST Mazda Connect Version for this final now out of production Gen 6 Mazda-MZD Connect.


NA N or EU N or 4A N or JP M is the Region location.
NA N North America
EU N Europe
4A N (ADR) Australia/NZ, Oceania, Southern Hemisphere.

Navigation Brands
N means NNG-Here Navigation.
M means Matsuoka Japan ONLY Navigation.

ONLY Time when 70.00.100 MUST BE UPDATED or used to install 74.00.324A is when your Version is Older or BELOW
