Buy this tape and make this!

Is still that working? Have you found a solution to not show the textile tape when you open the door or have you left it there?
Thank you for the advice. If you are on Mazda 3 Italia fb's page many people will be grateful to you for sharing your resolution, many people have that problem including me.

Is still working. The tape do not annoing me.

I think I solved the problem with my vehicle. The window seal itself seems to cause some problems for me. I've noticed this because with the window up/down it flexes the seal in different ways. My rattle always went away when I just cracked the window. What I did was rolled the window down, pulled the corner near the top away from the door and added some 3m strip caulk about 4inches down, around the bend and then 2-3 inches along the top. Fold the seal back over and pinch it to stick it all together. I also added a small dot behind the rubber square piece ikxdf added a foam piece onto but don't think that did anything as it wasnt contacting anything on my vehicle. Going to try this on the passenger door as I hear the same thing over there.

I think you are on to something. I noticed when I am driving I will pull the door handle and crack it open and the noise goes away.

Try to go out from your car and punch your Door. You can ear the rattle. Press with a finger the upper Windows trim and rattle stops. Make my fix some posts ago and you Will never have rattle again.
I have put 3M tape in as a test in the spots. I still have the upper corner rattle. But now I can tell it's not a plastic rattle it is the weather stripping rubbing up against the metal.

Yes same here, if I press the door staying out of the car, I can hear a disgusting noise, this happen also when I'm in the car and I open the door slowly.
I went to the dealer and he said it's the B pillar but I don't believe him.
I will try your fix as soon as possible.

Please. Try the fix with cotton tape like me. Is the only permanent solution.
I would have to special order that Tesa tape. I'm not spending any more money on this rattlebox of a car.
You just need a slipping surface between the two. Any tape will work.

Now I just need to do the side piece that is attached to the rear door.

I did the spots but it sounds like what you're saying is to do the very inside edge near the window itself?

Yep, if you tap on the seal that the window track goes up/down in in the spot that i show in my picture you can hear the tapping noise that i was getting on my driver door. With the window up, it pushes that into the door to make it flex and makes the rattle. With the window cracked a little, it relaxes the seal to sit more flush on the door and it stopped (mostly).
Only thing that sucks is it got warmer in my area so things arent prone to rattling as bad. But this made the noise when it was similar temps when i bought the car last month and havent heard a peep from the drivers side yet. Once the temp drops again into the 40s I will know for sure.

I will have to look below where the window meets the top of the door frame on the inside of the window opening is what you are saying?

These 3M tape pieces seem to work. I may peel off the red side and fix these loose rubber pieces permanently.
