Anyone succeed to make it work the SCBS-R, my configuration is changed but it doesn't detect the obstacles ...? Thanks
In the mean time I'm trying to dump the ECU mapping (My is a mitsubishi):
I have low cost J2534 adapter, so i have issue with the data buffer. But you can try to dump it by sending to 7E0 a RMBA on 0xFFF88800 with a size of 0x200000. You have to slice the request by max 0x400 bytes. which will do something like 0x23 (RBMA) 0x24 (2bytes for size, 4 for address) 0xFF 0xF8 0x88 0x 00 (the adress) 0x04 0x00 (the size)

You can see STOP sign ?? I've got TSR and it can't see STOP sign lol... weird
BTW do You have the Navigation installed?
Because in one CX-5 manual I've found that TSR can operate only with navigation installed

Yes, I have the Nav SD card. I agree, I believe it is needed, although I don't think it is actually "needed" in order for the front sensing camera (FSC) to read signs... The TSR settings are grouped with the nav settings (like when to detour, etc.), it's possible that it's just a matter of not being able to get to the menu to enable TSR without having the Nav SD-related settings.

That might be the cause for me. I have in M3 2017 the 59.00.502+ firmware which stops me from using the cracked navigation cards & the original Mazda nav.system isn't that worth the money which they want, besides my wife (who owns the car) doesn't really need that much that navigation. But it looks like that might be the reason why the TSR is disabled finally in it.

Regarding LDWS & LKAS: in CMU menu there's no chance to disable them, as the LDWS there comes inside of LKAS menu.
But maybe to try to disable the "LKAS alert" & "LDWS alert" one by one in ForSCAN FSC configuration http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=235234&d=1520606034 & save the back-ups of FSC & IC modules after every change

M3 2017.

706-01-02-8400-0000-10A4 - these are expected to belong to TSR with 00=enabled & in my case disabled.

706-01-01-6C80-9000-72FD, 706-01-02-8400-0000-10A4 - these are expected to belong to LKAS/HBC, in my case enabled.

706-01-01-6C80-9000-72FD - these are expected to belong to LDWS, in my case enabled.

706-01-01-6C80-9000-72FD - these are expected to belong to SCBS 2017 model, in my case enabled
Again, I was able to get TSR working by changing the 10 to 00, but these changes did not seem to enable LKAS, HBC. LDWS may work, I will have to test on the highway tomorrow. I do not have options for LKAS or HBC in the infotainment settings. My understanding is that if you have RCTA (Rear Cross-Traffic Alert), you have the hardware needed for LKAS. I don't have LED headlights so I don't really care about HBC, but it was unclear which value is for HBC and which is for LKAS so I tried both.

The LDWS, LKAS, HBC as TSR also are not definetely confirmed, so at the moment it's difficult to distinguish which one belongs to HBC & which to LKAS. The presented values are only deducted from comparing the cars where they're enabled & disabled. It happens that the cars where LKAS is disabled have the HBC disabled also, while there're no cars with enabled LKAS & disabled HBC

Gotcha, thanks for the info. I think we can confirm TSR, right? I just had to change 10 to 00 in FSC as suspected and it works.

Why save the backups after every change?

If someone without navigation card confirms it also.
Otherwise we have to say 706-01-02 B4=00 + navigation installed.

BTW in my M2 2016 FSC is without SCBS but with LDWS & originally that byte is 00 there. I have there navigation installed but no ADD. So there's nothing there about TSR naturally.
Then we have to say that this TSR is confirmed by 2017 models only? Or there's someone esle with older models to confirm that also?

Why save the backups after every change?
In order to find the proper differences in FSC & IC backups & to distinguish HBC & LKAS settings in the same byte.

Besides I'm afraid that LKAS cannot operate without LDWS enabled. That also has to be confirmed. The both of them originate from the same signal but one makes alert while the other produces alert+respond-action

BTW, in order to find out the influence of navigation for TSR operation can You please extract the navigation card & start the engine. Then You can check whether the TSR menu is still present in CMU

The menu option (Speed Limit Warning/Traffic Sign Recognition depending on whether TSR is enabled) in Safety tab is not present without the Nav SD card.

So, the "TSR" menu isn't directly in "Safety" menu but inside the "Speed Limit Warning" menu? I didn't expect that & didn't check there because "SLW" I have not enabled

The Speed Limit Warning menu becomes the Traffic Sign Recognition menu, which is identical to the Speed Limit Warning menu except for the Traffic Sign Recognition checkbox at the top of the menu.

At least when I first made the change, I went to the Safety tab and the Speed Limit Warning text literally changed to Traffic Sign Recognition.
