Hi everyone! Just took my 2018 Mazda3 to the dealership with two issues... a rear speaker rattle (which y'all have discussed quite thoroughly), and my infotainment screen yellowing towards the bottom.

Both problems will be fixed under warranty, but I wanted to share a picture here in case someone else had a similar problem...

Any idea as to what it is? I've read somewhere else that it's an improperly cured adhesive on the screen.

I know this is old but I'm seeing the same thing as in the OP's photo. My 2018 Mazda 3 is out of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, and this is obviously not covered under powertrain, so I am wondering if there is a way to get it fixed for free, and if so how to go about it. Do I need a TSB number or do I just need to mention at drop-off that I heard there was a "warranty program"? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

This seems to be a common issue now. It is caused by the digitizer (touch sensor of display) connector pins getting too hot and causing burning of the front plastic. This will also cause the ghost touch issue for a while until the internal display error shows up. Once that happens the center of the display will no longer register touch but ghost touch won’t happen.
