valve lash adjustments?

Does the 2.5L skyactive require valve lash adjustments and if so, has anybody done it themselves? I have done this on B series honda motors before so I have the gap shims for it and know how to do the job, but being a different motor I am curious to see what is different with these. Factory gap specs and what not.

The Skyactiv motor has hydraulic lash adjusters, so no adjustment is needed. They either work or they don't. When the time comes they are replaced.

Has any engine needed valve lash adjustment in the past 25 years? Hydraulic lifters are pretty old tech these days.

Motorcycle engines do. From the smallest $500 250 all the way to the $18k hypersport liter bikes.

Don't know about car engines though.
