Signature lights/ Power/ Performance questions

Hi guys!, I'm fairly new to owning a Mazda ever and I bought a 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback select 2.5L non turbo about a year ago. At the time I didn't even know the turbo model was a thing because I was just looking to get a new car at the time, and the thing that is bugging me is the signature headlights you could get.

I've been wanting to know if there any way I can purchase the signature headlights/taillights and install them on to my car. My car has the base headlights and tail lights and I have been looking everywhere in the forums and any other websites to see if it is possible but found nothing. It's not a big deal either if I can't install them I'm just wondering if it is possible. I've called the dealership Mazda around me as well and they don't know anything.

As far as performance and power goes I've been really wanting to get these questions of my chest and I haven't found much on forums. I put on a Corksport axle-back exhaust on to it and it sounds great. Later down the road I'm going to install the mid pipe on to it for a cat-back. Although what I'm wanting to know is if there is anything I can do to add more power to the N/A engine (non-turbo). I'm loving the car but adding power and performance is my main concern. The short ram intake from Corksport just lets too much hot air to be sitting there in the engine bay. There's also not much cold air intakes that have come out for these newer models. Again I haven't seen anybody try to add more power to the non turbo models like they have with previous Mazda gens. Can anyone help out?

Welcome, FWIW there are many of us running the VT-Racing supercharger kit on the 2.5L (I know there's a 2019, and 2020 Mazda3 running the kit, though I actually have it on my Mazda6, it's the same engine).
Basically ~$4-5k, adds up to 100whp, with boost from 1200rpm all the way to redline, barely loses any mpg, now I compete with Civic Type Rs and GTIs and WRXs...
#sleeper :devilish:

(unfortunately there's not a ton of power to add to this engine without FI, a tune is your best bet, but mostly that just gives more power across the mid-range, doesn't change the peak much)

Thank you for sending that information! I could defiantly give that a try at some point when I'm in a better budget. I thought about installing a handmade Cold air intake more towards the bottom and changing my spark plugs. There is a definitely a lot to consider. I would love to turbo it but Corksport hasn't came out with anything and might not as there is already a turbo model. Yes you're defiantly right a tune would be essential but these engines are just complicated.

I see well that makes sense of course but the signatures just look so clean. Do you know if it is possible to switch to the LED headlights and taillights? I tried contacting my Mazda dealership but they said the clasps or wiring is very different and would not be simple plug and play. These 4th gen Mazda just have so much potential and should be a bit more plug and play with accessories, such as upgrading a base Mazda to a premium Package without breaking the bank.

I recently watched this video and this guy does a very well job in explaining what has what. I have a 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback - pearl white - Leather seats - 18" silver wheels. I don't have as many features as the premium or preferred package for sure. I'm just wanting to know if it is possible to upgrade the package just by simply going to Mazda and configuring or any local shop.

definitely like it, and the front and rear light lenses have this neat fresnel lens. Didn’t realize until recently the sides of the rear and front cases glow. Really neat effect. And so glad the rear blinkers are amber, never been a fan of the red rear blinkers.

The below store has the Signature lights - the tail lights seem to be the 2021 version though. I've never personally ordered from this store.
