Nice build! You're going down the exact path I'm looking to go down. I think I'm going to go with something lighter than 20% on my car now that I see yours.

Good work on the badges. Whats the brown I see in your front badge pictures?
Thanks! Ya it seems we have similar taste.

The pic your asking about is the front emblem plain with the badge pulled off for painting. For some reason it looks brown in the pic but it's actually just the black plastic before I painted it white.

I baked and painted my headlights yesterday! Tonight I will post some pics.

I want to see how that turns out. I don't think I'm man enough to bake and paint my only set of headlights though lol

Baked and painted my headlights last night. Wow, that sure is a task! Taking the bumper off is the easiest part, believe it or not.

As you can see I started in the day and finally finished at night. Took about 9 hours including drinking beer time.

Here is some pics after I washed her up. I left the high beam functional as well as the orange reflector. I also taped off the tip of the ring around the main light to keep some of the cool blue chrome.

I am very happy with how the lights turned out. With the black lights now the front end reminds me of an S2000.

I will be getting my Corksport intake and exhaust by mail tomorrow. :dancin 1: Can't wait!
Now that I can't wait to hear about. Are you doing a DIY install or sourcing it to a local shop?

I am going to install the SRI this week myself and the exhaust will have to wait untill my cousin gets back in town (he has jack stands ect) at the end of this month. As much as I want to slap the exhaust on at least I can drive around with the SRI for a couple weeks. That way it will feel like two upgrades instead of just one.

I could not wait to install the SRI! I have had intakes on past cars before but have never installed one myself. I have to say, it was very easy! It would have been alot easier if I had the right size tools and proper lighting, but it still only took me about an hour.

My opinion of the Corksport SRI for the stock Skyactiv-It is the best sounding and performing intake I have ever had! I drove the car for about a half hour around the hood, up onramps and the I-15. The sound shocked me! I would have been content with just the SRI but I purchased the exhaust as well not knowing how cool the car would sound with just this intake... So as I first pulled out from my house and down the street I rolled my windows down. A honda pulled up next to me and I was bugged cause I was trying to listen to my intake and all I could hear was what I thought was his exhaust or something. So I pulled over till he was gone and started driving again. Then I realized that the noise I was hearing was my own car- my brain melted from excitement and then I floored it!! Wow, too cool! I can say that I love my car even more now. Performance wise, it seems like the engine revs up a little faster. Maybe some extra HP, but doesnt feel any torquier(if thats a word). Probably worse MPG now, only because I will wanna stomp on it every red light.

Here is some before and after pics.

btw when you painted the inside of your front emblem, did you use the CWP paint or just regular white?
I went to Lowes and asked for Satin White Plastic spray paint and clear coat. When I got home I realized that they had given me metal paint. I did not feel like driving back so I just used it. Came out good though. I was worried that it would clash with the Crystal White, but it doesnt. I didnt use a primer or anything.
