youll be cool as long as the bolt pattern is 5x114.3

Looking to downsize from my heavy 18" Enkei's to 17" lightweight rims.

I'm lowered on Eibach Pro-kits.

So the ones I'm looking have these specs:

17x8 +35

and tires: 245/40/R17

Does anyone foresee any issues...or I'm I good to go?

I see I need to revise this thread. People still asking questions before trying the math themselves...

So I have a 2010 Mazda 3 iTouring with stock suspension and stock wheels (16x6.5 205/55/16)

Can I put (17x6.5 205/50/17) OEM wheels on it without any issue?

Like do I just take off the old wheels and put in the new ones and good to go?

This stuff is completely out of my realm and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Hey guys, newbie here.

So I decided to make the big move, went from a vw jetta to a mazda 3, problem is, winters just around the corner.

I have spare winter tires from my Jetta, while I know the rims are completely unusable, I would like to know if I can fit the 195/65/R15 on a Mazda 3 2015 GT?

The Mazda comes with 18" wheels.

No, you cannot fit 195/65r15 on 18" wheel.

Yes to both questions.

Someone with a Gen 3 hatch is going to have to lend me their car for an hour so I can slap my wheels on it and get some measurements. In general it looks like the Gen 3 has even more space than the Gen 2 so no, 8.5" should be easy. My hypothesis is that up to 10" with a 265 will fit just fine if you're ready to do some fender work.
Did you already figure this out? Do you still need a Gen 3 to test?

Well, I don't have 18x10 anymore, so unless you want to try 18x10.5 +30 which will be comical, then no. lol

Well, my 285 tire is 20mm wider, and the wheel offset is 8mm lower than the 18x10 +38mm that I'd pegged the Gen3 to be able to fit, so I'm imagining a good 3/4" extra poke on each corner vs. a fully optimized 18x10/265 setup (assuming that even fits).

Great thread, just doesn't cover the newer model. With that "will they fit" calculator, seems like a link to that site, and a simple list of how many MM closer to the Suspension and Fender we can go would cover most of these 12 pages :)

BTW.. anyone know what that would be for a Gen3? I'm eye-balling some rims and being most 18" are 8" wide, they range from 0.22mm closer to suspension and 0.893 closer to the fender (stock wheel size)

Thread is awesome just need an update for us 3rd Gen guys. I have coils coming soon from buddy club and rear camber arms will be here today from hardrace, I'm looking to get the gram light 57c6 wheels early next yr. They will be 18x9.5 +38 going to try to fit 245/35/18, or a 255/35/18 I will keep you guys posted as soon as I get everything situated.

19*8.5,+35

Hey Everyone, similar to the guy above, I'm thinking of getting19x8.5, with +35 offset wheels. More specifically, the Niche Sector M197 wheel. I have the 2018 GT hatch, lowered on Eibach pro kits, fenders are not rolled . Does anyone know if this wheel would cause any issues with rubbing?
