Someone with a Gen 3 hatch is going to have to lend me their car for an hour so I can slap my wheels on it and get some measurements. In general it looks like the Gen 3 has even more space than the Gen 2 so no, 8.5" should be easy. My hypothesis is that up to 10" with a 265 will fit just fine if you're ready to do some fender work.

@color0 how it going man i really need some of your help!

My previous fitment of varstoen 18x9.5 +30 235/40/18 setup is over for me, no more stanced setups for my province, they just announced that "HELLAFLUSH" is illegal and serious fines can and will be posed if they stop me.

I want to go for a flush fitment, with stock camber settings, im looking for the widest and flushest fitment with no streched tires to fit, but like i said no camber to stock camber settings. wound you know what would be the perfect with and offset, thanks alot man!

x8 (225) or x8.5 (235) at around +40 to +45

Anything 3deg camber or less, the cops usually can't see haha. You can still do 18x9 +45, for example Enkei PF01 in that size.

Here is 17x9 +45 with 255/40/17 and untouched fenders. There is about -2.5* camber in front (about -1.5* beyond stock), which helps pull the tire in line with the fender. The rear is within the -2.5* OEM alignment spec. The appearance is subtle, particularly for non-enthusiasts, but if you truly want stock camber, then Rherold9's suggestions are good.

@joey.lisano Hey looks nice, looks like that setup would tear the tracks up. Looks like you really like suspension tuning from what i see, your car has every brace and bar possible lol. Im not necessarily looking for stock camber settings but nothing that cops would be able to visibly see. according to color0 3 degrees is the line for that, now the main reason that i don't want camber is because i didn't even do 8000km with my current setup and my tires are finished, not quite sure how many degrees camber i have, but i could also be toe, i have no clue. that is why im trying to stick with as close to stock as possible on the camber setting. How the wear on your tires? Do you rub when you hit a bump, also hows the truing any rubbing when turning. Thanks man.

Thansk To color0 and Rherold9 for your help as well! Much appreciated guys :)

How do you define what's hellaflush and what's not? Poking tires?
Hey DomTheGhost , from what they mention on the site is basically no stretched tires, no low offset wheels(no deep dish wheels),tire and wheel combination can not pass fender line of the car, no camber or and geometry Exceeding stock specs, funny thing is that coil overs" specifically mention coil overs" is permitted modification and your car is allowed to be as low as a credit car gap between the floor and car chassis, as long as daily driving the car does not rub or scrape lol, check out the link and see for yourself. It means you can still drive on air suspension though lol. Just avoid airing out till it's showtime.

lol, coil overs are also permitted, says in the book of prohibited and permitted modification, that coil overs can be installed as low as you want but if you get pulled over man and your car needs to get inspection and your car cant go over a speed bump, your screwed with a nice 600$ fine.

Thanks. The rear tires have rubbed a few times on large dips (when driving in excess of the speed limit). I don't see any damage; I just hear noise for a split second. They don't rub when hitting pot holes. I have yet to roll the fenders or trim the plastic so there is room for improvement. The front tires rub on the inside (near the frame rail) when the steering wheel is almost at full lock. The inside of the tire is much closer to the strut than Mazda's design intent.

For your tires to wear out that quickly, it seems like a toe issue. I do not drive much, 10k mi/yr, so measuring tire wear is like watching the grass grow. Based upon my tire temperatures, I have the inner 2/3 about equally loaded. The outer 1/3 only gets a full work out on hard corners so I expect the inside to wear out first, after years of use.
