Hi, maybe I'm missing something important here...?

I used to be able to find firmware updates on hidrive.com/share/hsodpqja, but I understand that has been decommissioned.
Is there another site available, and if so, what's the address?
I have a 2017 running 73.xx (EU) firmware and want to get the latest version for my car

TIA / Niklas

Missing something? Yes, research is what you are missing. If you had been reading the posts here concerning the current firmware situation you would know that its all been removed by the legal owners of the software rights and is no longer available.

Well, I did some reading and caught that the old hidrive storage was going to be removed, and I also found some (non-functioning) MEGA-links. But for sure I missed the 'legal rights'-discussion.
I presume Mazda just wants to be able to charge for the work on the upgrade installations from now...
Alright, thanks for the information arathol, appreciated !.

Hey,

maybe your details are wrong, I think there is no Firmware 73.... . Please check it again at your MZD.
I sent you a PM (private coversation), maybe you dont need an upgrade and you are running on 70....

Bye

I upgraded my 2017 HB 2.5L Touring last week from 59.something (can't find my notes right now) to cmu150_NA_70.00.100A then to cmu150_NA_70.00.335C per the instructions I was following. I wasn't able to upgrade to cmu150_NA_70.00.367A. I was receiving an error when the update tried to start "Validation Failed. Failed to validate package certificate." I tried downloading the firmware from multiple sources, confirmed the checksums matched, tried different USB sticks, and switched USB ports. I got frustrated with the error and installed the cables and aux box anyway and can use AA on 335C. I don't know really what the the differences are between 335C and 367A, is it worth pursuing trying to get the 367A upgrade working or should I leave it as is?

Weird issue. Have you tried to reinstall .335 over .335 and then update to .367? Or doibg a factory reset of .335 via MZD menu (system tab).
Search for threads about 70.00.352 and 70.00.367 here - there should be changelogs written down telling you the fixed bugs.

Could I bother you for the North American version 70.00.367A firmware? I have ordered a new USB hub for the carplay retrofit and would like to be on the latest v70. I am on an older 2018 Mazda3 with the smaller 7” display and do not want the different DPI v74 brings.

Edit: nvm. Was able to change the url and obtain the needed file.

Im in dire need of some EU Links. Currently on 56.00.210 hoping to get car play on my car. So im guessing i need the 70.00.100A file for E please!

Just as info: For adding CarPlay you do need any FW 70 (e.g. 70.00.100 - or latest EU 70.00.367) AND additionally hardware (hub + cables). Just in case you hoped CarPlay would come along with the firmware update only.

Hi everyone,

So I updated my Mazda Connect a few weeks ago and it is now running with version 70.00.367A.
I then ordered the USB Hub and cable from Amazon (Jaimenalin für Carplay Android Auto USB Aux Hub NachrüStung Satz für 2 3 6 CX-3 CX-5 CX-9 TK78-66-9U0C : Amazon.de: Computer & Zubehör) and received it yesterday.

I followed the tutorial, and when plugging my iPhone I now have the option for Carplay. While the software seems to be working fine, I now have no sound playing from my phone via Bluetooth or Carplay and I can't seem to figure it out.

The Infotainment unit seems to be working fine and I do have sound when listening to the radio.

I do not find any unplugged cable except for the original one, between the USB Hub and the Infotainment unit.

Would anyone have experienced this issue and has a solution for this ?

EDIT: I was just being a gobshite and did forget a cable.. Everything is working perfectly fine. Thanks very much for this tutorial. :)

Cheers!

Hello,
I've recently updated firmware to 367 and installed the usb hub, android auto seems to work, but in waze/google maps gps location gets frozen(at the start of the car) and is not updated(stuck at the parking lot where i installed the hub in fact).
Issue seems to exist only sometimes, I still haven't figured out when. At the time when this happens mazda nav also seems to be stuck.
Did I forget to connect gps antenna cable or something?
Any tip would be appreciated
