Ideas:
a) Uninstall all tweaks, do a factory reset, install AA from AIO 2.8.6
b) Install Autorun/ID7 tweak, update to FW 59.00.502 which is said to be the most stable one for AIO AA (but still less stable than original AA/CP).
c) update to FW 70 or 74 and install more stable AA/CP hardware (usb hub + 2 cables)

If you compare with other cars, did they have the same FW and AIO AA version installed? Only then you can compare correctly.

Thank you very much for the clear and comprehensive reply.
I see your point regarding the comparison, and the variables were indeed different.
If I go for the third option, can you give me the links for the recommended hardware ?

@Vadim6059 : I just googled for "color scheme files mzd aio" and the first link is this, which should help you:

So, I am going for it, the upgrade to the "official" AA, but with the possibility to keep using AIO. I have already all the hardware.
Just to be sure:
I am on FW 59.00.443 EU and ID7 already installed.
  • I can safely update the FW to max. 70.00.100 (or even 70.00.150A?) and keep access for AIO, and having touch during driving except when using AA without having to use serial connection?
  • If I want to go to 70.00.335C or 70.00.367A and want to keep AIO-acces, I MUST use IFD7v2 AND serial connection?

Why should or should not go from 70.00.100 to 70.00.335?
Which issues are solved with this update?

1. Yes. Never heard of update files for 70.00.150A - I would stick to the known 70.00.100 in your case.
2. Correct for .335 and .352. But .367 or higher can not be enabled to install AIO Tweaks via USB by using the ID7v2 method.

ID7v2 for .335 / .352 requires a serial connection, which scares some people or is over their ability.
Changelog (whats the difference) is written somewhere here in the forum - just search for the firmware version.

Just search this forum, part numbers are are mentioned often.
Hi again,
To make sure

To make sure, for b) + c) I will need to establish serial connection, right ?

No, as you have 56.00.100 at the moment. You do not need the serial connection at all - not for b) and not for c). If you install AIo tweak ID7/Autorun tweak now via USB, it stays even after an update up to/including 70.00.100. But AIO Android Auto does not work at any FW 70.

You only would need the serial connection for the installation of ID7/Autorun, if you were already at a FW between 59.00.502-70.00.100. As from 59.00.502 and onwards the installation via usb is blocked from factory.

In a) by do a factory reset you mean in the infotainment =>system => resotre the facory settings

Hello.
Excuse me
AIO's current website provides more than 355+ files and methods which can currently support the largest version?

This is a picture from the Internet. Can the yellow frame be supported?
Is the new 74..* version available?

Of your yellow frame only 70.00.335 and 70.00.352 are known that they can be enabled to install AIO Tweaks via USB if you do the ID7v2 serial access: www.mazdstweaks.com/id7. Also read as basic knowledge: www.mazdatweaks.com/serial
Of other versions it is not published/known how to do it. Higher FW versions like 70.00.367 of v74 can not be enabled via ID7v2.
OK! I see. Thank you for your answer.

Hello. I have a mazda 3 axela from Japan.
The s.w version is at v70.00.335 jp

I've seen that can install tweaks when we make the id7 serial connection.

1. what does the id7v2 do?
2. Do I need the new USB hub to run android auto.
3. Do I just make a serial connection and I can install the tweaks without any upgrade/downgrade or reinstalling the same version.

I hope someone can assist me, thanks in advanced.

1. ID7v2 copies some files to the CMU, which stay there, as long as you do not do another firmware update. ID7v2 enables you to install AIO tweaks via USB.
2. Yes, if you want to use the official, more stable, Android Auto (but for this, you do not need the ID7v2). The AIO Android Auto tweak does not work at any FW 70 or FW 74, so you can not use this one.
3. ID7v2 requires a serial connection and a firmware installation, after which you have to paste some commands - see www.mazdatweaks.com/id7 and the ID7v2 thread here in the forum. You can install .335 over .335 if you want to - also of other regions. There are lot of threads about people wanting to install other regions FW on top of JP FW, as JP FW is not available in the wild. Just read them, which one is recommended - I think it is ADR region. ID7v2 works for .335 and .352 only as far as I know. Lower FW versions only require ID7/Autorun (www.mazdatweaks.com/serial) and for higher versions there is no publication.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Meaning I won't be able to use the android auto from aio tweaks on this version.

I will need to only install the new USB hub to get android auto working. Am I right?

There are two different Android Auto versions. Which one do you want/referr to?
1. Official Android Auto, is more stable, requires any FW 70+ installed and afterwards a new USB hub + 2 new cables. This does not require a serial connection (ID7/ID7v2).
2. AIO Tweak Android Auto, is less stable, does not work at any FW 70+, does not require any additional hardware, but the FW must be able to install tweaks via USB. From 59.00.502 onwards, this is blocked. To enable it for 59.00.502-70.00.100 use ID7 serial connection: www.mazdatweaks.com/serial, for 70.00.335 and 70.00.352 use ID7v2: www.mazdatweaks.com/id7. For higher versions it is not published, how to enable them.
