Is there any way to deactivate this +/- feature? I don't like it at all.
I bought a 2023 Mazda3 Premium H/B with a manual transmission. I asked my salesman if it had cylinder deactivation and he said: "No, not with a manual transmission". I believed him because I didn't think cars with a manual transmission had them and he himself drove a Miata. Well, he was definitely wrong!
... I didn't want a car with that particular feature but there is a benefit I suppose. I get better fuel mileage with the new 190+H/P model than I did with my older 150H/P model. But, I still don't like it and there should be a way to deactivate that feature!
