hi guys

anyone ever attempted to remove your DPF filter ?
cause I know that the sound and overall performance en life expectancy of your engine would increase...

The terrible smog in big European cities is increasingly being blamed on the same diesel vehicles that, ironically, governments there have been promoting for the past several decades. I suspect more environmental restrictions will be placed on diesel vehicles in the future, and this very well might include increased exhaust testing during annual inspection requirements.

I would recommend anyone taking off their environmental equipment to keep all of it in the garage, including the ability to reprogram the reprogramming so that it can be put back to factory standards some day.

This is also needed for the owners of vehicles still in warranty in order to keep the warranties valid should something go wrong.

that my friend I cant argue with you,
however I've went to a local big tuner here and they gave me the info that they can program the EGR+DPF out but you will have to remove the inside of the DPF and normally they wil pass on the MOT and to quote Meteorgray the test that they have to do on your exhaust to see the actual figures of co2 etc. is actually a road test of about 800 Km to exactly pinpoint the stats of that car so I don't think will be seeing that in the future
anyway I will do aal of that in th future and keep you posted

I really doubt they gonna implement something in the nearest future to check an actual presence of the dpf. it is well costy equipment to assest that info, so the MOT garages will not have them all.
More likely - diesels will die natural death, or they will implement some other stuff to get exhaust cleaner - like ADDBLUE.

I think it's a moral side of this. Do you really want do be THAT guy that pollutes more than nessicary? Why? It's not gonna be a sports car how much you fiddle around. I find it mostly arrogant and stupid to do this stuff. Or are Mazda owners on the same level as american hillbillies with black-smoking trucks? "HUEHUEHUE fuck the invorment"
