Let's get this started for the 3rd gens!! I'm definitely interested to see some modded GenPee's!
Cant tell if the new one comes off, but the stock trim has a bit of a cutout where the top of the emblem is so wouldn't be a straight edge like the new one (if that bothers you).Out of curiosity, do you have to go paint this top part or does it detach and I can use the already painted top part from my stock grill and attach it to the honeycomb grill? Thanks!
as delivered my top piece was not attached as you need the upper mounting bracket from your original grille (piece #9 ) as well as items #4 , #7 and #13 and obviously all the clips and screws.Out of curiosity, do you have to go paint this top part or does it detach and I can use the already painted top part from my stock grill and attach it to the honeycomb grill? The dash stripes have potential... Do you have it any where else in the car? Do you have a full interior pics instead or just a close up?Hey all! I just purchased a 2016 M3 sGT an have been reading all the post on here. Today I added some wrap to the interior. Just some small things for now. I probably end up wrapping all the piano black in 3M brushed black metallic.
I got the idea for the dash stripes from another site and thought I might try it. What do you think?
Hey man, did you paint the chrome smile that runs from one headlight to another in black? I've been wanting to do that to mine and was wondering if you removed those pieces or just masked if offI finally received my Tanabe strut brace yesterday, so I took it upon myself to do some work on the car.

Then changed my foglights over to Philips Whitevision H11 bulbs.

I'm not entirely happy with the light matching the headlights - but it is better than the more 'yellow' output from the factory bulb. It is worth noting that this was about the most 'white' bulb I could find that was legal in Australia, without being overtly 'blue'. The police here crack down on illegal lighting pretty heavily, so I erred on the side of caution.
... and finally converted my indicators over to silver-coated amber bulbs:

I think the silver indicators make a massive improvement to the appearance of the front of the car.
Next up will be to fit the Corksport LED kit which also arrived this week. Hopefully it's not too blue for my tastes and has enough light on things like the trunk light, or I may have to be selective with which bulbs from the kit I use, and replace others.
To be honest, I'm not at all a fan of bright white fogs. I think they're way too bright for oncoming traffic, with HID headlights. I do like the silver coated turns though.I finally received my Tanabe strut brace yesterday, so I took it upon myself to do some work on the car.

It's actually a gloss black vinyl that was applied whilst still fitted to the car. I kinda slacked out and had someone else do it. I went gloss black to match the Kuroi body kit parts (front lip, side skirts, rear lip). If/when that deteriorates, I'll probably have it professionally painted. I love the idea of plastidipping it, like many have here - as I understand, most just mask it off and paint it on the car.Hey man, did you paint the chrome smile that runs from one headlight to another in black? Yeah, I felt it's the best compromise between light, color, legality, etc. The foglights are there primarily to provide lighting during fog - not just for looks, after-all. I could easily have gone more bright, more white, etc - but it would be compromising their fog-light purpose, and I feel that's a bit self-defeating.To be honest, I'm not at all a fan of bright white fogs. I got them from an Australian sellerthe silver indicators are nice!
where did you get those?
I def like them in piano black. I may just have to order a set for my liquid silver 3sGT hatch. Also thinking about having my factory wheels powder coated in gloss black and these would tie in nicely.I removed the 10 piece 3M Di-Noc Carbon Fiber Vinyl pillar kit and replaced it with a 10 piece Polycarbonate glossy Piano Black kit. I love the look so much better. The last two pictures are with the old carbon fiber vinyl.
Can you link where you got it? Looks great!Wrapped my window trims in gloss black
