I'm having a similar sound coming from my car but not as loud. Did you get fixed by the dealer under the warranty? If not what's involved in replacing it for a better unit?

Um no its not

So it covers the regular Mazda 3 2.5 engines right? What is the TSB number on this? Is there a better updated version of this part?
