Has anyone tried to replace the touchscreen on their infotainment screen to try and combat the ghost screen issue?
With this one, or one like it?

Just bought a 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback and mine is starting to act up.

got a 2015 mazda 3 in Feb this year, had the ghost touch issue and they fixed it for free. I had mazda approved warranty for an year, but i believe they might fix it since it is a generic issue with most of their infotainment systems. Request your dealer to check with Mazda and see if they are ok to do it for free.

My 2016 sTouring bought in May 2016 ghosted for the first time a bit over a week ago - 7 years, 5 weeks, and 3 days from the day I bought it. I wanted to adjust the front to rear fade on the stereo. I pushed on the Settings icon at the bottom right and the screen went crazy. Then it froze on the System tab in Settings and started beeping and pulsing the 'System' label on the tab. :(

I've researched it and have seen the tips on hard reset and removing and re-inserting the navigation card but I haven't done anything yet. I'm waiting for life stuff to let me take it in to the dealer to see if they will fix it under the extended warranty even though I'm beyond it. I have a video with the date this started.

Meanwhile I'm leaving it on the Entertainment screen that lets me listen to the radio and lets me use the analog controls to change stations, volume, etc..
