You guys ever use wherefire.com ? The prices seem ridiculously to low to be legit. I'm scared the wheel quality is bad. I'm looking at the avid 06 which is a volk t37 replica in white. $999 for all 4 18" rims and tires mounted and shipped?! Really.

Also what do you guys think these will look like with white on white. I found this crappy wheel visualizer that had an assortment of rims. The pic is not of the avid 06 rims which I think look better than this mock up picture of some simple 5 spoke ones I could find ehh close enough to get the picture I guess. Go ahead and laugh at my horrible photo shop skills.

Nice wheels.. I got the same ones and love the way they look on the car (see pics a few posts back). One tip for you.. this may be obvious to everyone but me, but do not lay the wheels and tires face down on your driveway. It never occurred to me the face of wheels extend out farther than the tires. None of the OEM wheels I've ever had were like that. I flipped one of these over to look at the back and put a few small scratches on the paint. I felt pretty dumb.

I got my new wheels and tires today!

17" TSW Nurinburging wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 225/45/17 tires.

Now that's the perfect look IMO :001_tt1 1: If/When i would be buying them i am most likely going to go for the 18' :3

Thanks man! If I had it to do over, I'd go for 18" with a 225/45/18. I actually got to take the Super Sports back and changed them for Continental's summer tires. The 17" wheel with a 45 side wall just looked way too small on the car. If you do get a 17", get a 225/50/17. Then an 1" spring drop will look perfect.

I'm buying the mz3 i sport at the end of 2014. I really want to get those rims but that will be not for a while haha I will definitely keep in touch with how they are treating you xD How big you think the gap is going to be with the 18' and the 225/45 tires on stock springs ? I feel that the cork sport lowering ones are going to give me the small slam look which i don't want. I like that 1 inch above tire all around (perfect height IMO )

So here's me car on 225/50/17s. From what I've seen with tire calculators, the 225/45/18s have even less gap.

eibach springs will give you exactly that.

Louis110, I'm surprised those fit without any rub, idk if i should be surprised though.
I'm looking at the Rota Grids 18x8.5 +44 offset in Hyperblack, I used Tire Size Calculator | Comparison of tires and wheels to check a possible setup (using 215/45 18 tires) that compared to yours dimension wise, and I think they'll fit.

Low and behold (I don't believe anyone has posted a picture of these yet!) here is my current wheel setup :clown:

I'll post updated pictures once I finally pinpoint my wheel/tire combo!

Just one small mistake - can you make the brakes the correct size?

As we all know stock brake discs are not big, especially the rear one. And with those wheels with only few thin spokes, we can look right through the wheels and brake discs to the other side. To me, that is an ugly look. Either get wheels with thick or many spokes, or change the brake discs to much large size.
