Latest Mazda firmware is also available at your dealer.

While I agree my friend the US Mazda Dealers tends to do Firmware updates better than most in other countries, but all are still pretty bad at updating Firmware in Mazda/MZD Connect, in fact many just wont even touch it even after the owner requests the Dealerships during servicing.

For the time being I am happy to assist genuine Mazda owners who want the correct files to update their Mazda/MZD Connect themselves with install instructions.
We can no longer publicly post live links via any server type.

If you guys want later Firmware or want to do the CarPlay/Android Auto install you can ONLY get it by Messaging me here, to do so click on my AVATAR , 'Start conversation' or Message and ask for the file (s).
Please include the Firmware Version Number you are currently on and country you are in and the model and year of your Mazda.
Do this below will reveal your details and you can message me a picture of the touchscreen details....
Go to touchscreen red 'SETTINGS',
Side Scroll to Top Far Right Folder 'SYSTEM',
Scroll Down to 'ABOUT'
Touch 'Version Information'.
Version Firmware Numbers are revealed.

IF you can not message me (system will not permit you) then this is because you are a New Member, you must participate in this forum in any threads by asking information or commenting on other members information, after a few posts by you and an approximate period of time (after 24 hours) you should be able to message me or any other member here.

SYMPTOMS
The following symptoms can be improved by the latest software (Ver. 74.00.324A).
Improved symptoms depend on current software versions.

• If the shift lever is operated quickly while displaying CarPlayTM screen, the rear view screen may not return to CarPlayTM screen.

• When the gear position is shifted into P from R, the screen may not return to the previous condition before shifting into R position.

74.00.324A NA N is now also available for NORTH AMERICAN MARKET.
Changelog..
Ver. 74.00.324 fixes these software errors (bugs):

• If the shift lever is operated quickly while displaying the CarPlayTM screen, the rear view screen may not return to the CarPlayTM screen.
• When the gear position is shifted into P from R, the screen may not return to the previous condition before shifting into the R position.

Ver. 74.00.311 fixes these software errors (bugs):

• When using CarPlayTM, sound may not come out from the driver side speaker.

Ver. 74.00.310 and later fixes these software errors (bugs):

• Frequent temperature warnings may appear in the center display.
• The time in the center display may be inaccurate.

WARNING: Many of you guys are downloading Mazda Firmware from You-Tube or other sources...
UNLESS You know WHAT you are doing DO NOT...!!
WHY: Well you are either downloading Firmware for WRONG Country or Region or you are NOT Downloading the Complete Set of Files. Must have separate Reinstall.up and Fail-safe.up Files and YOU MUST install each in the correct order (the Smallest File is First).
Only the late 70's Firmware is a ONE FILE Only Install.
RESULTS: Well many are ONLY Downloading or Installing the One file and Not the Other leaving you with a Mismatched CMU Versions Set-up which can be very difficult to rectify depending on the TWO Mismatch Versions.

IF you are having issues as you just joined 3Rev Forum 5 minutes ago??.

Well it could be that you have NOT Introduced Yourself in NEW MEMBER thread?... so can you perhaps do this, and or, post in threads about subject matter(s), and then come back up to 24 hours later and you should be able to Private Message me.

Or, perhaps you are tired of waiting for me to reply, well what I do is for free and I do have to sleep at sometime remember you are up to 20 hours behind me.

If you require Firmware for Gen6,
I ONLY ISSUE what Mazda Issues,
I Do Not have any old outdated and buggy Firmware.
This is ALL I now have.
31.00.100 Transition Use Only for Mazda 3 Only.
70.00.100 Transition Use Only.
74.00.324 Latest and Final.
