I am getting many people who are Tweaking 74.00.324A, Do not it is not stable, WiFi and Bluetooth instability.
Thread closed.
Whoa! I was just about to do the tweaks on my 2016 74.00.324A. I already successfully did the touchscreen mod on top of a dealer installed USB. I do AAwireless which works fine. Now You're saying NOT do do the AIO now? Can you site some examples?

I can tell you that the AA Tweak of AIO never worked at FW 70 or higher. With the as is version from AIO 2.8.6 you will not succeed.

Once there was a user who changed the code of it to work with FW 70 and higher, but it required a usb hub connected to the usb hub. And he and all his info got banned/deleted here, as he might have sold his solution or there were some copyright issues.

More stable was the official AA/CP with the 2 new cables and new usb hub.
Hi mate,

To date I have had 5 people who have install 74 AIO who all have had issues with Bluetooth and or Wi-Fi problems.
All have had to Reinstall 74.00.324. Without Tweaks or to remove.

I don't know if there is a fix but I warn all users not to install this on 74.00.324.

which type of problems?

Created an account just to say Thank You! I researched this when I first got my car over a year ago, and came to the consensus that it was no longer possible. Today, I randomly came across a post about it on Reddit, where the person said it was no longer possible, and decided to research it, again, and am I glad I did.

My firmware is 74.00.324 4A N, Japan built car, OEM CarPlay, located in Australia.

For some reason, using "CD" command didn't work, but "cd" worked fine. I also had an issue with the keyboard not being recognized, but using a different one worked fine.

Tweaks installed:
No boot warning (must have)
Faster UI tweak (didn't know it was a thing, but holy! System feels so much faster now)
Touchscreen (worked perfectly, main reason for this tweak install for me)
Entertainment list (for some reason did not work and remained default)

Any feedback on the list order not working? Maybe a reinstall is required?

Also, if I take the car to dealer, will they be able to recognize it is installed and have issues with it? (i.e future updates, refuse service, etc)
How does the uninstall process go in case I, for some reason, want to revert to stock?

UPDATE:
Installed more tweaks (the one that were tested by OP), and all of them work.
Can confirm the beeping issue the Miata owner described, but I didn't even realise that you can hold the knob down to scroll, so it's a non-issue for me.
The speedo is in MPH, which isn't very useful to me, but it displays more useful info.
Personally, was not a fan of the status bar "disable outline" tweak, as it clashes with the rest of the UI, gonna re-enable the default behavior later.
The rest seems to work fine after the second install. I probably forgot to check something in the app.
The guide is useful, easy to follow, and works (for me).

Thanks for the feedback, i'm really glad the guide was of help for you! I have updated the guide to say lower case "cd", thanks for pointing that out!

Unfortunately I've had no luck getting the Tweak Android Auto to run. Keep getting that 'unstable connection' loop on my phone. Could be that my phone is just too new.

If anyone else has any luck though I'd be interested to hear how!
I might have found a better way.

Give this a try. I'll try it now too. The cmu version is 74.00.311.

Sorry, I forgot to translate.

If you already have the head unit app installed, please uninstall it and then install the file I sent you.
I hope to hear good results.

1. Yes, if you have official AA/CP already, you are able to use it afterwards.
2. No, touch for AA can not be enabled via AIO Tweaks or this ability here.
3. AIO Android Auto Tweak does not support FW 70 or 74. So, yes, if you want to use AA at FW 70 or 74, you have to use the the official version (new usb hub and 2 new cables).

Try using this.

For anybody wondering why: the letters are case sensitive because it seems that this is running Linux operating system and it usually uses lowercase letters.
"cd" is a command in Linux, (used to go to a specific directory) "CD" isn't.
