That took several attempts to get that shot tho.

His best is Pike peak, I think he actually got that one first attempt.

Aren't you guys referring to all wheel drive cars?

With a fwd car, and even with a rwd car, you can "upset" the chassis by using the brakes, and/or by purposely overcooking the corner, leading to an "oh sh*t" off the gas moment. The weight shift from rear to frt wheels allows the frt tires to gain traction, and the rears to reduce traction and that means oversteer, which is countered by applying opposite lock steering.

Yep.. they were both converted to AWD beasts. He has a street legal FWD RS too in his garage..

That was the 1890's word for "happy".

Drifting a FWD car on anything but snow or loose gravel is pointless as you lose too much momentum after the desired slip angle is achieved... Powering out of a given corner is a mix of painful and stupid.

Car control skills are one thing... Drifting is just for show and that was not entertainment in the vein that watching the daily tribulations of a 600lb. human shouldn't be considered entertainment either.

Really depends. I've done, pave, gravel, and a tiny bit of snow. Snow is the most unpleasant and least predictable. Gravel was nice and easy. Pave was much faster, and slightly predictable, but yea, a little more scary due to the speed.
