Does it say depressure the refrigerant and then move... or disconnect bolting and move aside with hoses still connected?

Actually I'm glad you missed that little bit. I have not looked up alternator replacement, but now I will know that little tidbit if I ever need to. Thank you.

 

If it's where I think it is. I don't see it as terribly difficult to remove. Rare problem though. No one that I'm aware of has required an alternator replacement thus far.

 

I'm just planning ahead for an audio install.

 

I wouldn't connect directly to the alternator. You'll want to connect direct to battery on an audio install and get an x2 battery from batteriesplus.com or get a Northstar Group 35 I think. Same battery same company. But batteries plus gives you 5 years and northstar gives 4 years. It's larger than the stock for cranking capacity and it's built to deliver quick jolts of power.

 

Will that fit in the stock battery compartment?
