Its pretty easy to work with and cheap but looks and feels much more expensive than it really is. Had it on for about a year, it will fade in areas of direct sunlight and places which are touched by oily hands. It is cheap and easy enough to replace when this happens.

 

You can cover it with a UV Resistant spray made for outdoor furniture cushions and it will last a little longer. It’s like 10 a can!

So what’s the piece you have connected in the cup holder section? Looks clean!

 

Just 2 magnetic phone mounts from Amazon. Very sturdy and tight. Screen can be angled about 15 degrees in each direction to reduce glare. You have to sacrifice the 2 cupholders, but is not permanent and can be removed.
This is literally a stuck on tablet console design!!

 

Looks pretty good.

 

I am surprised you did not change the shift knob also.
