Microtrasactions for changing the background pic? nah i'll pass.

 

What this app needs is the same controls as that one android app that allows you to select and controls video playback.

 

You're profiting from other devs hard work on the infotainment project, please either remove payment or remove the app.

All this stuff is already free and available via SSH/USB tweak; this app is needless.

 

Would love to be able to switch background from my cell with pics, would simplify things

I agree and I would pay a $5 one time app fee for it.

 

FYI guys i m working on a version of the app, (no micro transactions etc) more information this evening (european time)

Already did a first beta i m currently waiting for apple to approve it for TestFlight (Apples Beta Programm), anyone of you want to test it as soon it is?

any plans on creating something similar to The Android app that is out there that allows Video play controls and display mirroring?

 

as i did not look at the source yet, no - but maybe... this will at last be a topic for me if i see that there is enough intressed in it after the background app.

What i think would be possible is Video Play Controls, display mirroring from iOS won't be possible as airplay is way way more complex and "closed" then the android way.

i did already try to get in touch with the developer of the android app to get some more information / port it to iOS but never get a response.

The app looks interesting, still has to offer more stuff but i want to try it.
How can i see the version of the software of my car?
I don't want to pay for it and not be able to use it

 

I'm curious if there's any way around the app having to use hostspot. I have wifi enabled on my car but don't want to give Sprint another $30 a month just to change my car background

 

Yeah, dont use the app and use the AIO tweak via USB
