Just a thought, on my ‘24 if you put the phone on the wireless charging pad (irrespective of if it’s actually charging or not) the signal for some reason drops out occasionally - if I either keep it in my pocket or dump it on the px seat there’s no issues and CarPlay works seemlessly. (Old iPhone X with new battery)

 

Connect wired for a while and see if it improves. If it does, it's a wireless speed issue. Not sure what really could be done about it, but at least try to isolate the issue first by ruling out wired vs wireless.

 

Just found an answer to my audio cutting in and out while driving. It happens in serveral locations as I commute. I'm thinking I'm passing strong wifi in certain locations. The remedy is turning off "Wifi Scan" on your Android phone. The phone would scan for available wifi connections and it interupts the Wifi Direct connection with Android Auto. No more interuptions. Go into Settings, use the search feature and type Wifi Scan. Click on that result in "Location" and toggle it OFF. Done!

 

I had this issue with Pandora app no matter where I was driving so I turned of a bunch of google bs settings running for no reason and it plays fine now days

 

Thanks for the info, in my case it's really just on startup that I have this issue. This morning there was an update on my phone related to android auto and sound issues, hopefully this will solve my issue.

So the saga continues, i just changed to a new mazda and still having the issue so it's definitely not the car. Tried changing settings in the developer like changing the avrcp as it use to be an issue at one point and changing the MAP

 

Today i tried something found in the Google android forum that was posted 2 days ago and it seems to work.

Go to the Bluetooth settings in your phone click on the gear/option of the mazda connection and remove media. Kind of weird but today the music did not cut/skipped at all.

 

Hi, I have a 2024 Mazda 3 and a Pixel 7. Since November, Spotify (with downloaded playlists) keeps cutting out for a few minutes when Android Auto connects wirelessly. It happens every time I start the car and doesn’t stop even if I pause or switch sources. Any fix

 

Hey did you try to remove the Bluetooth media option in your mazda Bluetooth settings in the phone? I had to do it as well in my cx50 ?
