2013 Axela Hybrid Model Screen working but no touch

Hi, I have a 2013 Axela Hybrid model which has been imported into NZ.
Running 70.00.100 JP M firmware version.

However the touch function doesn't seem to work on the screen. Would anyone know if this is likely to be a hardware or software related issue?
Were there some versions that have the screen but no touch capability?

Silly question....does it not work when you're parked? The touch screen is locked out while driving

Fair enough question, as I've had the car for just under a week haha, but no such luck with parking brake on or off.

Since android auto doesn't have touch anyway, it's probably not the worst thing in the world.

Unrelated.. but due to fingerprints.. I always use the buttons and scroll wheel.

I think you misunderstood. The touchscreen stops working when the car is moving or exceeding a set speed (5 mph?).

When stopped or slowly moving, it starts working again.

Sorry, what I meant by my message was in all combinations of moving/stationary/ brake on/off, acc mode etc, I have been unable to use touch.

I don't think it ever had a touchscreen. News release discusses scroll wheel control.

well that would explain a lot lol. i do agree that with how well integrated the commander knob is, it really isn't necessary to use the touch screen.
