i have a 2010 mazda 3 and i really want to get some nasty rims like XRR 522 18x9.5 +25 Or Rota P45 18x9.5 +20 for the car

i have seen some people here with rota p45 18x9.5 +30 all around with a 215 45 nankang

and here goes another one with xxr 522 18x8.5 +30 in the front and 18x9.5 +25 in the back running 215/45 all around idk about the suspension

IDK ABOUT THE SUSPENSION ABOUT BOTH OF THEM

can you guys help on the fitment wise and all that crap i am really new to that area right there thank you guys =]

I tried 17x9 +43 (+48 with a 5mm spacer) and a 245/40-17 tire and the it stuck out pretty bad in front. I don't foresee an 18x9.5 +25 eer working unless you're willing to do all of the following:
-a very stretched tire
-bodywork/fender rolling + pulling
-high amounts of camber

I can throw up some pictures a little later for reference but I'd go with like 18x9.5 with a higher offset... namely something +38 because it's the highest you can go without hitting the strut in front.

Also, running a staggered fitment with the wider wheels on the rear axle (like on the red MS3) on a FWD car is pretty worthless if not borderline idiotic.

EDIT:
On front-wheel drive cars, which already tend to understeer, putting a wider tire on the back is a detriment to handling. 90% of the braking, all of the power delivery, and most of the weight-bearing is being done by the smaller tires. The overworked front tires give up first when pushed, and the car wants to plow straight ahead, inspite of the steering input telling it to turn.
