Hi,
My Mazda 3 is a 2015 SE-L with Xenon headlamps and I've got in to the habit of popping the car into neutral when I come to a stop. I've noticed that if I need to apply the handbrake the daytime running lights switch off, is this normal? They come back on when I release the handbrake and go to set off.
Tomorrow I shall experiment by not putting the handbrake on and just use the footbrake to hold the car, but I'm curious if this is by design. The stalk switch is in the Off position.
