I just had my oil change done 2 days ago, but I see the wrench icon on the control panel. It was displayed on and off last month, so I thought may be because of I am due on oil change though the level says that I am at 40%, so why it would show now? I have just 7000 miles on it with two oil changes so far...

Its probably cause the Tech forgot to reset your maintenance interval back to whatever interval you are having your car serviced. Just go to the Apps menu and go into the Maintenance sub menu and reset or change the interval time.
