I know there are fans of OEM replacement rubber through dealerships.

I had a pair of these on a previous VW and loved them. They lasted about a decade, didn't crack as quickly as other products and few issues with streaking. I wiped them down 1x/2x each year, they really were low maintenance then.

I am curious about people's experience with the Bosch ICON product on their Mazda 3? Is it the 24A for the drivers side and the 18B for the passenger side?

Your opinions are appreciated.

Thank you for referencing this part.

It appears these are an older model. Did Aerotwin blades get folded into the ICON brand? In the US, these Aerotwins are not cheap, overpriced old stock.

Has anyone installed ICONs (24A / 18A or 24A / 18B) on the Mazda 3s?

I have been doing the rubber insert replacement since the car was new... nearly 10 years. My wipers are original and still working fine. It's also insanely easy for me to keep a spare set of rubbers on hand.

It's cheaper and creates less waste. What's not to like?

I just went with RainX. So far, very happy.

Thank you for sharing this. Can't tell from the photos but I assume the new stock you've purchased is silicone-based beam blades?

I do not know if you ordered online, but if so, I'm happy to check pricing for 24" & 18".

Just got them at Walmart. Don't overthink it. They're great.
