Hi Everyone! I have a 2014 Mazda 3s GS. I got winter tires in perfect condition from my previous car which was dodge journey. Its General Altimax Arctic P225/70R16. My question is can I use those tires if i buy new steel rims for them on my Mazda? Sorry if its a noob question. I looked in Mazda3 Wheel Fitment Guide Thread but there is nothing regarding third gen Mazdas. Thank you!

That tire size is too tall and wide.

Owner's manual specs P205/60R16. A 70-series sidewall makes the overall diameter too large and will affect clearance and odometer/speed readings.

11% taller and 11% off for speedo... unsure if you'd have clearance issues but 2.7" taller is a lot of tire
