I am pretty happy with how the BOSE audio sounds, delivers a good enough kick (although I wished it would be a bit tighter and mids would be a bit more accentuated, I understand that there is no mid EQ), but overall it's quite a good system for stock.

The problem is that I like to listen to my music fairly loud (level 40-45) and when there is a lot of bass in dance type tracks my entire right side window or something starts vibrating like hell. Is this normal? I would think this should not happen in a brand new car and it does not happen on the left side only the right. There is nothing in the glove box or anything else in the car that could vibrate, it's the car itself. Just wanted to hear if others have the same issue?

I have that issue but that's only because I had the window on that side repaired and I guess they didn't tighten the screws enough for the tract or motor to be held down.

OR it could be your door handle lol and not the window. A lot of people on here have issues with the door handle vibrating. I fixed that issue by putting weather tripping foam between the door handle and the door handle trim.

Most likely it's the door handle since your car is new. Just play your music as you would and apply pressure on the door handle to see it the vibration stops.

thanks, it's actually not all the time when bass is present, something is resonating at one particular bass frequency... it seemed like it was actually the window but it could be the door handle, will check it out.

Um I have this issue and it kinda bothers me, However my music is too loud to care.
I to listen to loud music with the bass on 3 and obviously dancy trance kind of music then the whole car vibrates and i mean the whole car. Honestly surprised my side mirror hasnt fallen off. Im unable to put my arm/hand on the door as its vibrating too much and everything in the door pockets bangs around.

Glad it's not just me :)

You will have very high sound pressure levels if you turn your bass way up. Take the grille off your home hifi speaker and see how much the bass speaker moves in and out. It seems the vibration is due to a natural resonance with parts of your car. The only remedy would be to attach a small weight to the resonating panel to change its natural resonant frequency or turn down the bass / volume.

Everyone has this problem even when the car is 1 month old.
The problem is actually the empty space when your window is up. You can test this for yourself and see if this is correct but this is the problem I have.
Roll your window down and blast your bass and majority of the vibration should be gone because the area is now filled.
Since I bought my cork sport cat back I stopped listening to loud music because the exhaust sounds so nice. That being said, I now have more vibration from other parts of my car from certain rmp.

I thought I'm the only one having this issue until I read this thread. I'm having the same problem too around volume 30-35. I can hear vibrating sound coming from my side door especially with bass musics but not always there. Fortunately, I managed to solve the problem but not sure it will come back again by locking the doors. For the past few days till now, it's been good even on volume 40.

This is my problem right now. Bang on! What size of weather stripping did you use? Is it still holding up?
