My guess is you would need an aftermarket solution to make it work. I only say that because the stock auto switch has an element of software involved. For example, if you disconnect your car battery, the auto down/up feature will default to disabled. You have to re-enable it with the correct button sequence, so there's more to it than just obtaining the correct stock switch.I have been wanting to swap out both the driver's side control of the passenger window as well as the passengers window control with the auto up/down switch. Does anyone know if you can just buy the parts and swap the switches?
Thanks!
Ya when I got my car back from AEM my auto up/down button wasnt functioning and I was like wtf. Low and behold I find a section in the manual mentioning the button sequence to re-enable that feature whenever the battery is disconnected. My guess is you would need an aftermarket solution to make it work.
