hey guys, im planning on getting a catback for my 2.5 3 and was wondering, which cat back got me the most hp, corksport or magnaflow. i know the gains are going to be minimal, but i do want to make my car more peppy without breaking the warranty.
thanks :)

Not going to make a difference either way. It depends on how much noise you want, nothing else.

Best bet is to go listen to clips on youtube about it. Both websites might also have videos showing the sound clips.

I'd personally go with Corksport for a full catback. But there's always the custom route, which if you know the right exhaust guy, could save you some money. Depends on what you're aiming for.

Yeah the CS cat-back is very loud on cold starts. It’s louder than the magna as far as I remember.

Like someone has mentioned you’re going to get almost nothing from the upgrade unless you are going to get tuned for that increase flow.

I have had the CS cat for almost 4 years now and it’s still pretty loud even now but it’s not obnoxious. It has a nice grawl and there is a slight drone at highway speeds. The car gets a few stares on startup and when driving around alright.

I am installing the K&N 69 Typhoon this weekend and will be buying the CorkSport Cat Back Exhaust in a few months. Thanks for posting your setup with the Magnaflow.

I can't wait to hear how she purrs once I'm done. I'm hoping for a low growl, which I heard the CS has.

Interestingly, the typhoon will give you a low growl that will be further enhanced by any catback you install.

Keep in mind the growl from the intake is under load, (driving in gear.) You won't notice much of a difference revving in your driveway, but once you're on the road, Get Ready to RUMMMMMBLE!!!
