2004-2006 4YR/50K B2B; 4YR/50K powertrain
2007-now 3YR/36K B2B; 5YR/60K powertrain

So now we have shorter B2B and longer powertrain.

thx!

and I think a shorter B2B but longer Powertrain warranty is better?

Since the engine and tranny are the most expensive components of a car and have the most moving parts, I think it's best to have a longer warranty on them. Of course, it would be nice to have everything covered, but you play the hand you're dealt.

I got a 7 year 100k mile warranty on drivetrain, think it cost me a bit more but peace of mind if something comes up. Better safe than sorry. I drive a 2015
Chances are the expected value of an extended warranty is much less than the price. Buy insurance to cover potential catastrophes Some people think $2,000 is a catastrophe, so they pay $1,000 for an extended warranty. My advise: Spend a little less on the new car, keep the difference plus the price of an extended warranty for catastrophes. You'll save money in the long run.
