Hi all,

Thinking about buying some 18's for my 2018 mazda 3. Been looking through the official wheel thread and done a few searches but just want confirmation first. The wheels I'm looking at are 18x7.5 and I plan to lower my 3 on eibach springs at some point. I rarely have a full car with it normally being just me or me and the mrs.

The wheels come with a 39 or 45 offset, from what I can gather 45 would be the one to go for? Also will these fit without any clearance issues etc?

Thanks

Hi, @iBeef

The higher offset (ET+45) will sit nearly flush while the ET+39 may poke slightly outside of the fender. That being said, you may want to lean towards the ET+45 and as long as you do not go aggressive with the tire size, you shouldn't have any rubbing - 215/45R-18 may be a good consideration.

Thanks for the reply, 45 sounds perfect then. With tire size I want to try and keep a similar rolling diameter to my 16's so was going to go 215/45-18 (0.4% change) as suggested or 225/45-18 which is a 1.2% change but offers a lot more choice here in the uk.
