Wow I’m at 60k and found out that the dealer did a crummy brake jobs. When I had a brake job done the car still had some weird squeak when braking. I just changed my brake and lubed the pad like how it should including the contact area that touches the brake hardware and piston. A month in, and still a lot less squeak when braking. There still other noise from the car which I’m still hunting down but this is just he beginning of a long story.

What have you guys found so far and want to share with others?

In regards to my 2008 mazda 3, whenever it would idle cold the hood would vibrate so loud it was so annoying, it was really an easy fix honestly. i had to take off a bunch of the plastic since the hinges were broken it was vibrating against the hood. it was that plastic that connected to the battery.

in regards to my 2016 mazda 3 i have no strange sounds except for the usual brake squeal. easy fix was to change the brake but other than that it has been like butter.

Noises have been nothing except my sunglasses rattling in the holder. I did have the dealer do a crappy job replacing calipers though, didn't bleed them right. It was the recall work.

Mine is a 2015 Mexican BTW.

I had my first one recently that went on for a couple of weeks and it was driving me nuts...My wife thought it was on the driver side sitting in the passenger seat and I thought it was on the passenger side sitting in the driver's seat...maybe a loose passenger or rear seat...checked the glove box for loose stuff, checked the seats, repacked everything in the hatchback well looking for anything loose and even checked the lug nuts. The culprit, my wife's glasses in the overhead glass bin...Put in one way and they shake and make noise, put in different way and no noise. Regardless, I wasn't ready to tear down the car just yet.
