i have a Mazda 3 3rd gen sedan 1.5 automatic skyactive and wanted to know what is the best engine oil? also, does engine oil makes any difference?

Fill it with synthetic in a grade appropriate for your tropical climate. I suspect the manual may recommend 5W-30.
In northwest Texas, I fill my 2018 2.5I petrol engine with 5W-20 Pennzoil Platinum synthetic.
