My significant other just picked up a 2015 Grand Touring S. We love the car, but the day we bought it after it sat for a few hours I went outside and noticed a puddle pretty far back under the car. Got under there and it was water so I figured it was just from the air conditioner. This morning after it sat overnight there was another puddle, water again, that seemed fresh. I've never heard of this before when a car has been sitting so long. Anybody know what gives? Anything to worry about? Thanks!

Your catalytic converter creates H2O and that could be coming from your tailpipe. It may be worth looking into as it could indicate a faulty weld or bolted gasket/joint were the water accumulates and drains

The combustion of petrol/diesel creates H2O and CO2. The catalytic converter provides oxidation and reduction of toxic by-products (like nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbons) of fuel into less hazardous substances such as carbon dioxide, water vapor, and nitrogen gas.

The question is, where exactly is the water coming from? Also, when you say fresh water, do you mean the water was clear or that the water was still making a puddle after sitting a long time?
