Well, I wanted at least one reliable car for the wife. So, picked up a 15 2.5 GT with the almond interior. Nice car. Of course, 6 manual, wife would not have anything else. I do my own work, so hope to learn what I need to know here.

Place for parts? What oil filters and oil do you use? (I know, much debate there)

Thanks guys for the welcome. Remember this is the wife's car, my job is just to not screw it up. Does not seem to be as temperamental as a German car. Seems like Med center mazda is a good place for online parts and acc. $100 and free shipping and better prices than some of the others I have seen. Going to stick with OEM oil and filters at least for the first couple, till I feel my way through this Mazda thing.

Where do you get the drain valve, looks like a good solution, oil change interval on this is much shorter than my diesels.

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like your wife has good tastes. The Soul Red with Almond interior is a beauty. Feel free to post some pictures of the vehicle!
