The tires are not the problem. The rims are. Anything less than ~ 45 mm offset is going to be a problem with 8"+ rims and especially so if the car is lowered .

You will be fine. The 3rd gens have much more room than 2nd gens and I am running 18x8 +37 advan rz dropped on coils and didn't need any work really. There are 3rd gens with much more aggressive setups and are fine

getting mixed answers but leaning towards that it is most likely going to rub :crying2:
do you have a picture what your runnin on? and did you have any fender work done? really curious:surprise:

mines 18x7.5 et38 with 225-45 tires and no rubbing, perfect fit on the front and more room at the back, im lowered with cs springs

18x8 is super aggressiveness, especially for the 3rd gens who've had no problem fitting 9.5's.
235 tire is fairly sizeable for a 8 inch rim though, fitment issues aside. 225 would fit nicely on that rim.

I have 18x8.5 offset +38, tires are 235/40/18. I still have tons of wheel gap with stock spring/shocks. i would really think eibach prokit 1.2" drop wont rub at all. For ur case, you have beefier tires than mine so 1.2" drop should be right on the bar

Sadly, lowered, they'll likely rub on dips & load.

Nice! It looks like you have some negative camber in the rear.. What are you using for that? Rolled fenders? Well done!

Thanks for the response! Did you have to buy an aftermarket part for the negative camber then? And if so, what are you using?
