Not gonna lie, the semi-concave looks classy. Hope they work well.

I finally got the VMR V702 on yesterday. They look great on the car and I am very happy with them. These are Matte Gunmetal with Aluminum Brushed Face, 18x8.5 +45. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE11 225/40 R18. The lugs are WedsSport Racing Lug Nuts, blue, openended.

Here are pics I took.

(Lots of trumpets blaring. Some fanfare. Streamers and confetti raining down.)

I'm lowered on H&R springs and Koni Yellows.

They fit pretty flush and the Bridgestone RE11 225/40s only have a very slight stretch to them. The rear fenders have been rolled.

The texture of the aluminum brushed face is what I like most about the wheel. It's the main reason I decided to get a set. I also like the simple and clean design. The spoke coming to an end right before the lip is a nice touch, as is the recessed valve stem. There is a slight concavity to the wheel, that I found more noticeable once it was on the car. The only negative thing I can say about the wheels is that they are heavy, weighing in at 24.6 lbs. I wish there was an VMR V702 stamp on one of the spokes or in a space next to the valve stem. It could be subtle and help people ID the wheel.

If anyone is interested in a set, feel free to reach out to VMR directly. My contact there is:

Thanks Mitch for giving me the opportunity to be one of the first Mazdas with the V702. High five!

Looks great. The weight is still the biggest holdup, maybe you can get on their flow-forged program soon and shave some crucial poundage off the barrel. ;)

These would be awesome if they came in around 18 lbs. VMR should definitely put them on a diet. Hahaha.

wow thats look awesome! Perfect lug color combo and wheel finish.

I can just imagine how good they would look with more of a drop. A simple spoked wheel looks sick now matter how fitted the car is.

Great work!
