Haven't looked for an Android solution as my primary smart phone is an iPhone. But the concept is easy you have to find an app that turns your notifications to SMS notifications and the car will read it

Just got to test this today! I've had it installed don my JB 6S 9.0.1 and haven't had a notification until today that would trigger it and thankfully it works!! Snapchat works!

I installed VehiculeNotifier on my JB iPhone 6+ but it doesnt work me in my 2016 CX-5...
I checked my settings and everything seems turned on but when I go to the Communication tab, Notifications and Text Messages, both are greyed out...wtf!

On the iPhone, try going to bluetooth and tap the i button next to mazda, I remember there being a notification option there.
