I'm trying to make sense of the wiring but are their any guides to be found?
Checked this forum but found nothing. I take it all I really need to do is make an extra connection to the battery?

So they are basically just plug and play? Thats nicer then a full HID conversion

Yup these are plug and play. These are projectors so they'll shine a bit farther without glaring, output is pretty good. They are pure white in color, matches the LED DRL and if you have OEM HID, then the fogs will be a bit whiter than that. The thing with HID conversion is the glare they cause. Some say there's not much glare, but I've seen 2nd and 3rd gen mz3 drive by with HID fogs and the glare is there.

However, if you plan on using stock fogs, you should try LED and aim the fogs up a bit and it'll be pretty good. I previously had the philips ultinon h11 LED for the fogs and there was no glare with that bulb since that's how it was designed. Good luck with your project
