So heres my question. I have a stock non-bose system in my 2010 mazda 3 hatch s, but I have a Kicker PT250 10" Subwoofer with Built-In 100W Amplifier from my old truck. Is it possible to install a sub with a stock head unit? The sub has a built in amp and a small control box the installs near the driver. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. I recomend that you use a Audio Control LC2i. I suggest to set any gains on your amp at zero and use only the L2Ci for your listening preferences. You bass sounds will be much cleaner sounding and more controllable.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I ordered a line out converter and installation kit from Crutchfield. I watched a video on how to take apart the radio and it is possible the easiest radio to take apart that I have ever seen.
