Hi There,

I was trying to install the AIO tweak for Android Auto on my Mazda 3 (2015 model, VIN JM6BM). I get an error that my current firmware ver 51.00.351 cannot support AIO. I want to update the f/w to ver 55, but the only working download for ADR countries (I am in South Africa) that I can find on this site is 59.00.502. However other posts indicate that I will not be able to use AIO on that higher version . Can someone assist with the 2 download files for ADR versions between 55 and 58?

Go to this link: https://my.hidrive.com/share/hsodpqja.l#$/

Choose these folders: Mazda_Firmware >>> z Develop Firmware >>> Outdated Firmware >>> 4A N (ADR)

In that folder you'll find the update files for v56, which is not locked and should work for AIO. Good luck!

Hi again vondiesel, managed to get V56 FW loaded successfully (simple process, no issues). However now having loaded the AIO install of AA (again successfully), I cannot get the Mazda AA Headunit software to operate - it just stays on the message screen giving the 2 options for connecting (WiFi or USB). I have tried both methods repeatably without success. I have seen some other posts that indicate a possible imcompatibility of Android versions on the phone as well as the Google version of AA installed (I have the latest - 3.10.xxx). Is this a possibility? Tried to look for earlier versions of AA but am scared to install from sites other than GooglePlay. Any advice? What other troubleshooting tips can I try? Much appreciate and help and advice, have now spent endless hours on getting to a point where there is no value added.

I'm glad I could help you find the update files for the firmware. But I've never used Android Auto and I don't know anything about it. My only suggestion is to look through the AIO and AA threads here, or for info on the AIO site (mazdatweaks.com). Or, hopefully, someone else will see this and offer some suggestions.

Good Luck!

Hey clivepoorter! I wonder if you still have the files to update the firmware to v56 ADR. I know it's been 3 years but if you can provide it it would save a lot of time, a lot of links that i encountered all of them are already dead. My Mazda 2 stuck at V42 and i'm not sure if i can install android auto on that version. Most of the article that i read, it says that V56 is best for AA. Many thanks!

Hi,
what is your plan? Install AIO-Tweaks (only non-Mazda-Software) or install the Mazda-AA/CP-Hardware-Kit (2 new cables and an new USB-HUB)?

I just want to update my firmware to V56 to install android auto. I watched this tutorial video
it's in Indonesian and basically it requires me to update my firmware to v56 first. I already looked at comments and someone with Mazda 2 Skyactiv manage to install Android Auto by updating his firmware to V56. The comment was posted 7 months ago. But he said recently that he can't provide new link for the file since all of them already dead.
