Well Its installed and all I have to say is WOW... worth every penny!!! Total install from disassemble to fine tuning and buttoning everything back up took approximately 3 hrs started last night at around 8pm and finished it up shortly after 11pm.
I'm not going to post a write up only because the included directions are very clear and well detailed. The part that took me the longest was removing the shift cable end from the factory shifter and removal/reinstalling the shift cable mounts (PITA-grab a hold with some pliers and rock it side to side while pulling up at the same time, reinstall isl the reverse plus I lightly tapped them down with a small rubber ended hammer) and fishing nuts and washers out from under the carpet and floor heat ducts ( I have large clumsy hands). My biggest piece of advice I can give is take your time... READ the directions and if you start to get stuck or frustrated STOP take a break and think about what your doing... don't be in a hurry or you'll just end up fighting against yourself.
I'd give the install a difficulty rating of 4/10 for the average Joe with a descent tool kit and anywhere from 2-4hrs install time
The end result of all your hard work is pure amazing. Extremely direct, positive shift engagement, feels smoother/ less notchy. I think the throw I have mine set at is perfect (for me) its not joy stick short, but I don't feel as if I have to lean forward to hit 3rd 5th and 6th anymore... and reverse engagement and lockout are flawless. I've only driven locally 3-4 miles but so far I'd say this is absolutely the best mod I've done to my car HANDS DOWN... thank you TWM
I'll post up some more pics later but here is a few to oogle
