Has anyone tried to create a tweak to enable the rear view camera on demand without going into reverse?

Yes. I believe there is a topic on that here in the forums. Look in the index for rear camera on while driving.

I think it is a great feature to have. Maybe with the tweak we can also add more camera and have 360 view...:wink2:

I was just going to start this very topic. Seems like it would be an easy tweak.

What I would like is for the camera to stay on for 5~10 seconds after leaving reverse. This means that you would still be able to see the parking space behind you when moving forwarded during a parking manoeuvre. Great for parking in tight spaces.
