Hey guys. I'm in desperate need of some help.
The trunk lid of my Mazda 3, sedan from 2004, has been acting up the last couple of days.
It didn't lock properly when you shut it the first few times but you always heard the lock mechanism trying to lock. So this was an issue for like a week. But something I could live with.

But now it won't open. I press the button and nothing happens, no sound, nothing. I tried to use the key to open. nothing happened. Is it possible to fold the rear seats from inside the cabin? When I'm pressing the fold down button nothing happens. I guess I have to unlock it from the trunk ( :angry 1: )

How can I access my trunk again? Or should I just take my car to the nearest shop? I mean, I plan to buy a new car within 6 months. I just need to get my stuff out :)

Thanks!

Some Mazdas have a valet switch in the glove box, have you taken a look around for it? I've heard of that problem before.
